PumpkinFaceMaskToonCROPPEDWhen one of my favorite stores begins to stock pumpkin spice–flavor foods (the only thing I don’t see there is pumpkin-spiced kale!), that’s when I know I can take advantage of that nutritious, ubiquitous, orange squash — and make my own fall harvest pumpkin mask treatment!

Pumpkin Mask? No, that doesn’t mean you hollow out and wear a jack–o–lantern on your head!

Whether it is a quick fix for your complexion, or you want deep cleansing or added nourishment, a mask can do wonders for the skin. Masks stimulate your blood circulation, improve the skin’s texture and exfoliate dead cells. Once you have given yourself a mask treatment, your complexion is sure to feel stimulated, revitalized, radiant — and you are sure to look fabulous!

Masks can be very beneficial. Pumpkin is one of the most abundant sources of beta-carotene, a powerful antioxidant. I recommend the use of fresh pumpkin in this recipe. The other key ingredients can be found right in your kitchen. Smells good, too!

Can be easily stored in fridge in airtight container for up to 2 days. If you have a hard task at work or an exam coming, make the mask mix ahead of time so that it’s ready to soothe you when you really need it.

Time to be Skin Smart with my Pumpkin Facial Mask recipe!
