December at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. That Lightscape exhibit was so magnificent. We’ve all spent so much time indoors and we need fresh air and inspiration from art, music and light. What a great thing to do outside! This exhibit must be repeated every year.
My daughter did programs at the Botanic Garden for several years, so we know the Gardens very well. The transformation they did… I’m still speechless at how magnificent it was! It was perfect; it was beautiful. Everything was completely, expertly done. When you walked in, it felt like you were in some type of fantasy, another world. So beautiful. Every aspect, so well thought out, the music they had with each transition, especially choosing JayZ’s “New York” at the end… What a use of this land in the winter. Luckily, you can go to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens all year ’round!
